Spontaneous trip to Jacksonville, FL and Biloxi, MS
We decided to take a spontaneous trip to Jacksonville, FL. It may have poured down the majority of time, however we made the most of it. We even had a party in our room, in our bathing suits because when we got to the pool a storm was rolling in. We didn’t even get to dip our toe in before the security guard told us it was closing due to the storm. Here in Florida, when there is lightening 8-10 miles away, we have to get out of the pool as lightening can strike from that far away. Crazy to think that isn’t it.
Jacksonville is a cool city, the architecture and art surrounding the city made me smile. I love seeing old and new building mixed in together. It reminds me of my home city, Manchester, England. Now that’s a city to visit if you ever get chance!
While we were in Jacksonville we decided to extend our trip and drive up to Mississippi to visit family. And could you believe it, the rain followed us. hahaha! It didn't stop us from having fun though. Even driving go carts in the rain was hilarious. I have not belly laughed like I was doing in so long. I was wiping away the laughter tears. That was my excuse for loosing against Jonny and Giuliana.
It was great to drop in on the family. I love Mississippi, there is so much to do, from go carting to arcades, from jet skies to boat rides. The list goes on and on. I cant wait to go back. Giuliana didn't want to leave.
