Another beautiful session at Beer Can Island, Long Boat Key, FL. Christine and all her family were in town. I love extended family sessions. Its always great to see all the family together and capturing their portraits.

The boys were a blast... they were so much fun. I love working with kids. I become a kid again playing with them, ensuring they are having fun whilst taking their pictures.

SIDE NOTE: I like to goof about and make my sessions more relaxed. This way the dads are more chilled too, throughout the process. Because lets be honest, photoshoots are not number one on their list of things to do. Half the time they are rolling their eyeballs as they are getting ready for their session, I laugh because I do have men in my family too, so I get it. I find, if its fun and we tell jokes, and we just have a genuine laugh throughout, it completely changes the outlook for the husbands/dads. And then when they say at the end of the session, "that wasn't bad at all" it makes my day!!

Its all about the interaction with my clients, its about creating an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and relaxed. This sets the mood, then before you know it, I have beautiful images and the photoshoot is done.
